YWCA
Wall for Women

Turning a permanent, four-story mural that turned every smartphone into a donation device.

Domestic violence is a problem that hides in plain sight. And due to the pandemic, it’s risen 30% in Canada, causing an increased demand for YWCA’s services.

So we partnered with internationally renowned artist Ola Volo to create the Wall for Women, a 42-foot tall mural of hope in downtown Vancouver with six hidden QR codes triggered by any smartphone camera. Each QR code would bring people to a donation page to support YWCA services for women experiencing domestic abuse.
